GNU and Free SoftwareI am a strong philosophical supporter of GNU software, and indeed, I employ numerous GNU packages daily in my technical work. Unfortunately, I have yet to contribute any code to the Free Software Foundation's philanthopic repository. Unfortunately, I have been too busy with my many other projects to devote myself to any one opensource project. Thanks to all those folks out there who do have the time and unwavering interest. They keep the wheels of innovation greased! That said, from this day forward, as I do have snippets that I find useful to the community at large, I will share them here. Lately, I have had time to explore existing projects, including OpenNLP, OpenCCG, TADM, and MUGU, all hosted on SourceForge. Once I finish this semester, I plan to devote a few hours a week to one or more of the projects. |
